Grind the meat with bones and the organs. Do NOT use a home food processor, as they cannot handle bone. A heavy duty commercial grinder is required for bones.

Make a slurry of water, eggs, vitamins and supplements, seaweed and psyllium husk.

Carefully fold the slurry together with the meat. Do not overwork it or it will become pasty/gummy.

Scoop portions into silicon muffin trays and freeze.

Once frozen, transfer portions to freezer bags for easy storage.

Keep the food frozen for 48-72 hours to kill off certain parasites.

Thaw in refrigerator before feeding.

Nutritional Notes:
2

Raw heart provides taurine.

Raw liver provides Vitamins A and D.

Kelp provides salt and iodine.

Psyllium Husk does not provide any nutrition, but it mimics the vegetable matter/natural roughage present in the digestive tract of prey. Cats cannot digest plant matter, but still require this indigestible fiber to aid in proper bowel function. Psyllium husk does absorb water, so, in order to avoid constipation, water is added to the recipe.

You can simplify the preparation of this type of food via commercially-available Raw Diet PreMix packets. With these, you simply follow the instructions on the package, which typically involves combining a specified amount of the powder premix with water and boneless ground or chopped raw meat. Some premix formulations require the addition of raw egg yolk as well, it depends on the brand you're using.
